Fined for Working on my truck

Last week I was working on my truck, assembling the belts and whatnot since I just dropped a new engine in. A police car parked across the street and the cop sat there for 4 hours, watching me, I suppose.

Today I receive a "citation?" or something, that fines me or claims to fine me for doing mechanic work in my driveway.

How do I respond? Do I challenge jurisdiction? "...failure to state a claim for which relief can be granted" and all that?

thanks,

More information please

Alright brotha,

You need to give us a little more information if you want help.

Scan and post your citation (both sides) and white out or black out your name and address, if you like.

Make sure we know what State and City you are in, so we can reference the correct codes.

Refuse for Cause and get the exclusive original cognizance of the US by wrapping a Libel of Review around it. Of course if you have already established your evidence repository with the US clerk of court then you just Refuse for Cause according to the sample clerk instruction.

You should refuse for cause within 72 hours.

An interesting new development in the LoR is to copy into the case the $350 Withdrawal Slip for the filing fee signed true name dba account legal name under:

Quote:
Redeemed in lawful money pursuant to Title 12 U.S.C. §411

First,
Do you live in a “Home Owner’s Association”?
If so there may be stipulations in your contract that forbid such actions taking place on the property. Furthermore, This action should have been addressed first by the HOA, not law enforcement.
Second,
What “complaint” was this officer(sic) taking action upon, and who filed the complaint.
Remember you have the right to be faced by your accuser.
Third,
Check your local city code/ordinance to see if there are restrictions forbidding such activities.
Fourth,
Lack of Subject Matter Jurisdiction due to lack of “Essential Elements” of:
Law;
Title, (proper) Enactment Clause, and the Body (read: The Authority of Law by: Charles A. Weisman. Or, here’s a shortcut http://thebelltower.info/archive/ind...?q=f&f=%2F2007 scroll down to “The Authority Of Law” 3 mp3 files. (Just under Sui Juris Success Stories 9 29 07)

Crime;
Witness, body of evidence supporting the claim of damage, and a complaining party with standing. (read: Adventures In Legalland by: Marc Stevens)
“Essential Elements” to you and I are air, food, and water. Remove one of the “essential” elements and we no longer exist. Law, and crime are no different. If one, or more of these “essential” elements are removed the law, or crime no longer exists.

Still would like to see the citation, if you wouldn't mind posting it. It's a good exercise for all of us.
