Here is one that is not spoken of often.

Found this while reading the book entitled "Judicial and Statutory Definitions of Words and Phrases". Really a good read.

That seems to be about caveat emptor - buyer be warned. Thanks for the definition. Thinking about it, what came to mind is about recordation - post 1933.
