Citation From Animal Control

Hellllloooooo Everybody!!!

OK here is what happened on Saturday the 14th.

Washoe County Animal Control came to my house and said that on Tuesday the 9th my two border Collies and my Border Collie Lab (who is 9mos old) went about a mile or so to a neighbors house and killed their dog which is (was) a Golden Chessapek.

So I have a problem with two guys wrote a statement so its my dogs that did the deed and I must appear in court. No evidence no pics nothing. And their two statements don't agree with each other.

I live in a rural area and the properties are all 40 acres or larger. So a road with four houses on 4 parcels is about a mile. There are no leash laws, however if your dog is causing a problem is killing livestock including chickens etc., then the property owner can shoot the animal. I have no problem with that...that's the way it is.

HOWEVER I have a big problem with having Animal Control (AC) cite me 4 days after this dog died and NO evidence my dogs acyually killed this dog. Several time over the years there have been lost dogs and stray dogs and dumped dogs that have come to their territory and never did they kill any of these dogs.

Also AC did not ask me for any proof of vaccines nor did they impound my dogs (the puppy has apparently been identified as the killer dog) or tell me that I had to lock him up or anything!!!!!

So I plan on taking the ticket back to them and tell them it was a mistake and they have no authority to issue it.

Hey, I'm in washoe too

I'm not to knowledgeable about what to do but I do know that the law enforcement up here is anal.

I've had problems with the Sherrifs department already.

Hi and thanks for the comments. Actually only the Reno super security gards for the City Charter are really bad. And they are gonna get (I hope) a big surprize on Wednesday in Traffic court!!

On the Killer dog accusation the people whose dog died signed it, and the officer didn't. AC told me today when I called that it could get thrown out for that. And there are a few things I have to discover yet about the condition of the dog etc. I think I'm gonna be just fine.

Be sure to watch out for Washoe County Code Enforcers!!! They have a thing with the Judges and the "****" (our DA **** Gammick) have an agreement on how to handle zoning violations.

I specifically have a problem with the Reno Sheriffs department.

I was up one night working late in the office when a Sheriff let himself into the office and detained me for 4 hours for suspicious activity (being in an office without locking the door). I didn't give them ID or any proof that I was allowed to be there. Instead I asked them for their badge ID's and proof that they were allowed to be there. They got mad and detained me, but in the end they left. Finally when they left I asked them for badge ID's or name 1 more time. And they replied that their name was "Joe Shmoe"

I plan on doing something about this when I get a bit of time. It happened 1 month ago.

Since here in the great mafia state of Nevada we are under Statute law and statute means:

The courts are operating under Statute Law. A “Statute” is defined in black’s 4th edition revised as a kind of bond or obligation of record, being an abbreviation for “statute merchant” or “statute staple.”

Statute Merchant. Defined as a security for a debt acknowledged to be due, entered into before the chief magistrate of some trading town, pursuant to the statute 13 Edward I. De Mercatoribus, by which not only the body of the debtor might be imprisoned, and his goods seized in satisfaction of the debt, but also his lands might be delivered to the creditor till out of the rents and profits of them the debt be satisfied. Fifa = Fifa, short for the latin phrase fieri facias (“let it be made . . .”) was a court (execution) to the sheriff to levy on (Take) the property of a debtor in order to satisfy a judgment (see judgment and execution dockets, above). The sheriff might typically keep track of fifas in a Sheriff’s Fifa Docket Book. Usually written on a fill-in-the blank form, a fifa names the parties to the court judgment and the value of property to be taken to satisfy the judgment. On the back, the sheriff or his deputies annotate their actions in carrying out the order. The fifas were to be returned to the court which issued them and the actions annotated on the Judgment Docket. Theoretically, the docket books should contain everything that was noted on the fifas.

So I plan on telling the guy in the black dress that I am not part of the bankruptcy!! And some other stuff.
