People still asleep at the wheel
Ive been keeping up with a family law issue in Georgia for a few years that affected me personally at one time(before i decided to take matters into my own hands), at that issue is child support. Georgia is one of the worst states in their ficitional nation in regards to child support. Anyway, i know the leaders of several organizations which are fighting for the laws to be passed in Georgia in regards to child support. Now, this has been going on for at least 10 years (the talk of changing the laws), but, ive learned that there is too much money being made off the system as it is, so, changing it is not a financial incentive for the corporations making money off this. A bill was introduced this year, like always, and the people keep waiting on the legislators (who are mainly lawyers), to make things better. I couldnt believe the excuse they gave this year and whats even more believable, in the Post Bush voting fraud era, that their excuse actually worked. As some of you may know, a bill must pass both the house and the senate to become law. well, it passed the house with no problem. this was all in the media, a big deal, then, conspicously, when it got to the senate, it failed to pass by one vote. guess what the excuse was ( this vote was under intense scrutiny by these child support organizations, they had people at the capitol), the excuse was the senate failed to pass the bill by one vote and guess where that one vote was located? machine error, the machine forgot to count a yes vote??? whats amazing again is,well, if it forgot to count the one vote, aint that akin to finding a slip at the bottom of the raffle box and adding that to the total? and the people let them get away with it without saying boo. hah,ha, ha, well, maybe next year they will find the missing vote. ha haha
