Collecting Back Pay

Man, my friend "independently" contracts with a company.
They owe him back pay, so he contracts somewhere else now.

They still call him for jobs & he will on C.O.D. only, which is good.
The problem is that they haven't paid up yet.

I offered to help him and was thinking of the admin default process w/affidavit.

Any other suggestions?

I would love to experiment w/the estoppel by acquiescence / appointment of fiduciary stuff, too.
