My people perish for lack of knowledge.

Hi, Jim....

It bears repeating, I suppose, that everyone here is far more "gracious" than am I when it comes to expressing sentiments regarding BB, employers, and other agents.& It's a struggle to maintain even a simblance of civility when I write them, but that's as far as it goes.

For me, off with their damned heads.

I'm painfully aware of such admonitions as "don't wish bad on your enemies," and wisdom just as "you reap what you sow."&

Well, throw me in their with the Psalmist and other Old Testament-types who prayed for vengeance on their enemies.& The very power that these bastards have IS that the vast majority of people in this country ARE decent, kind, and forgiving. And all those virtues are used against them.& I can't think of a more perfect defintition of "evil."

King George is laughing his ass off about now. "Let me see. You went to war with me over, mmm, what was it? Oh, yeah, that's right. A couple per-cent tax on tea? Now look at you. You're pathetic. If I had only known that the secret to power was convincing people that the screwing they were getting was for their own good...."

Re:My people perish for lack of knowledge.

Jim,

Our constitutional rights are violated every day in some way.& And in these little skirmishes that people are having in courts around the country every day I don't know how effective we can be.& I still think that the thread that talked about asking the judge when he cites you for contempt about asking them is that civil or criminal contempt with the appropriate responses to give is probably the best way to deal with threats of contempt.& I don't remember what that thread was.

Why can't we just forge ahead and then back the judge up with the things from that thread?& Maybe that is too simplistic.& They keep getting away with it because we let them keep getting away with it.& We are afraid of our judicial system, and what it can do to us.& They have been doing it for so long, and now the average person thinks that is the way it should be.

& We are fighting the same war that was fought in the 1770's.& Now our battlegrounds are the courtrooms.& I think, though, &that the vast majority of people in this county are ignorant first about what is happening and secondly, afraid& to upset the cart.& I've tried to talk to some people about this stuff, and some don't even want to listen to it because they are afraid that listening can get them in trouble.& (They must feel like someone is listening- like BB maybe?)& And some of those very same people now avoid me.& I think they are afraid of guilt by association, and that they are associating with a "subversive".

I found this quote by Thomas Jefferson-"Yes- we did form a near perfect Republic.& But will they& keep it or will they, in the enjoyment of plenty, lose the memory of freedom?& Material abundance without character is the surest way to destruction."& How did he know?

"Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and start slitting throats."

H.L. Mencken

It is called Imprecatory prayer, Randy, and it is much needed in the world we live in.

Do a web search on Imprecatory prayer.
