It still requires "verification".& How do you know if the ticket is even "valid"??& Are they going to say that a cop is above committing fraud?& Well, PROVE IT!& I cannot and will not pay for a ticket that I have no knowledge of!... what?, you think I'm STUPID?


PROOF OF CLAIM REQUIRED.


If no proof of claim is&offered - file a claim against the bastards for fraud and harassment.& You could write a nice letter and explain that if they do not offer concrete proof of a valid claim (something other than the bogus ticket that does not bear your signature) then you will consider filing a claim against them for fraud and harassment.


Why not threaten them with action the same way they threaten us?

You might&as well get ready to file your claim for fraud and harassment, because it is not fraud to them.& The city and state&made the laws, and when they made the laws, who are you going to file your claim with?&

The city never used to attach parking tickets to your car's registration fee if you didn't pay it. But there were too many people not paying, so they started attaching it, and now they get their money. &I've lived here in the city for nine years and I cannot tell you how many parking tickets I have received in nine years -- too many to count.& The first year I lived here I must have gotten 10 parking tickets.& Last year was probably the only year where I got only one ticket.& I am very careful about where I park, but this year has been an incredible year of parking tickets!!!.. you'd think I know something about parking by now...& It doesn't seem to matter how much you know where and how to park.. they will find something wrong about the way you are parked.


Just in the last two weeks I've received two tickets&for the same thing -- not having&my car's registration sticker on my plate.& The first ticket they wrote back in Februray... I never received that ticket&but&now owe $60 on that.& Then just other week I got another ticket for the same thing, not having the sticker on my plate, $10 fine.


It's enough to make your blood boil!!

okay folks... if ya want to just pay the ticket and not have to worry about problems when you register your car or if you get pulled over again... then pay the damn ticket.


But, if you want to be sovereign and remain so - File a claim against them and shove your sovereignty down their throats.


Otherwise you are& just giving them more documentation that you have agreed that you are not Sovereign.

File a complaint with the DA, State AG, your congressman, your senator, state assembly, the governor, the FBI, a local union, AAA, State Farm Insurance Co., notify national and local news organizations, community watch groups, the Teamsters, hell even try the Black Panther Party and the KKK. (just kidding)


The point I'm trying to make Tora is that other more prominent organizations need to start asking the questions that you are asking.& Since they do not want to answer to you--have them answer to vocal public organizations.


What do you think?

I know what you mean, Jerseee.. I should be screaming and yellin up a storm about how this.. and yes, I do think about letting the world know about it.. believe me.&


Right now I'm concentrating on finding work.. but I'm going to give your suggestions some VERY serious thought!!

Godspeed in your endeavors of self-sufficiency.& But the easy way to do this is write one letter and courtesy copy them all.& And make sure that the mayor, city commissioner,&a presiding traffic court judge, and chief of police get a copy as well.


Some of these organizations out here really want to do the right thing but at the same time they want to make a name for themselves.& This is a win win situation.

I don't know how I am going to approach this because in a way, it's a no win situation.& They&will just think to themselves,&"Lady, if you don't want&a parking ticket, then don't park the way you do, OR, move out of the city." Everytime I have gotten a ticket, it's been a different situation - and trust me,&there is more than one or two ways to&get parking ticket:& your car is not parked within&the lines, you parked 15 minutes more than you should have, you parked in front of a nonexistent driveway, you parked&one foot closer to the fire hidrant than you should have,&or the metermaid can't read that the no parking sign's arrow is pointing in the opposite direction therefore you should not have received a ticket... the list goes on and on.... It's a racket..


Oh..and there are no judges... when you get a ticket.& due process is done administratively.. through the mail.& You can get a hearing by phone, but they don't care what you have to say.. you are in the WRONG.. It's set up that way.. TO GET YOUR MONEY.&


But yes, I DO&NEED TO START WRITING LETTERS.

Then put all of that in your letter.& BUt the main point that must be stressed is that no one signed the ticket so how are you liable for an unsigned ticket.


This should spark the outrage because it could happen to one of them or even worse--their children who are of driving age.& Can't you see the racket?& Cite the minors and the insurance goes up!
