FTC Attorney spills the beans!!

I called an attorney I've corresponded with a couple of times at the Federal Trade Commission named LAWRENCE DeMILLE-WAGMAN.

I asked him about debt collectors and the FDCPA and suing in foreclosure of comsumer debts. He told me that they look for the low hanging fruits, and that if people fight back it's not worth their while because they fill hundreds of suits and probably purchase the accounts for pennies on the dollar!!!!

He said that a debt collector must cease collection activity if they have not validated the debt and all you have to do is make the court aware of that and the case should come to dismissed. (not likely) but just hearing him say this was crazy!!

jaylon,

Kewl!

Pay close attention any time the word "Dollar" or "dollar" is used, as as opposed to DOLLAR.

Tell me which one is fictional, per the rules of English composition.

(Smilies don't work anymore, so big grin)
