Need Statue fast... altered document

I need some direction where to look or keywords to search that would bring me the statute I'm looking for...

we had a lease and we were given a copy by the LL for various reasons and we are now aware that the lease agreement was signed in front of a notary public 7 days after we signed it - the problem is that the notary public states that we were in front of him and swore to it - and the Notary Public signed it that the owner of the property is the owner and presiden to of our company.

Does this make it an altered document that is forged and and now null and void?

Okay so, you signed it w/your husband w/o a notary and then the notary notarized it a week later w/the owner's signature?

if those terms were added AFTER you signed it AND the notarizing was a week later ; that is called "notary fraud"

those are good search terms
