Simple Parking Ticket

Given all o fthe issues discussed on this site, I know a simple parking ticket might seem a little trival, but I want to fight a ticket I recieved and I'm looking for a little help, here are the facts.

1. On 10/05/06, at 9:15, I arrived at the corner of Olympic and Purdue Ave in Los Angeles looking for a place to park for a job interview.

2. At the time I arrived at the South West corner of Olympic and Purdue there was a large white truck, I believe it was a Fed Ex truck parked on that corner.

3. I parked at a meter on the North-West corner of Olympic and Purdue.

4. When I came back to my car at 10:30 there was a $50.00 ticket for street cleaning.

5. The only sign on that block was on the North-West corner which has a delivery truck obstructing it's view when I arrived to park.

6. There are two red zones and two parking structure exits between the south and north corners of that street.

OK, my question is, my ticket says I have 21 days to request and Administrative review. Should I request the review or an full fledged Administrative Hearing. If I should request a Hearing do I send the request to the "Parking Violations Bureau" as the back of the ticket says, or to I have to send it to the DMV?

Thanks,

You must first ask for review by the issuing officer's superior officer, usually a sergent.

Then you may ask for an administrative hearing.

After the Administrative hearing you can appeal to the superior court by suing the agency and you receive a trial de novo.

That can be appealed to appelate court

That can be appealed to supreme court

Educate yourself with the truth...

These are for YOU to answer.

What does it mean to "pay" ?

What instrument(s) created the alleged obligation?

If it goes to court, how can you prove they do not have standing?

I would study the Cal. laws which specifically state what elements there are to a parking ticket. I succesfully argued that Grass Valley (Ass Alley) tickets were non-conforming and got a dismissal and permanent free parking in that town. Apparently they already ordered like 10,000 tickets or more and did not want to reorder. So now I take any ticket I get to the PD and Ron Fontain the traffic officer says, "Well sure I'll sign that off for you in the intrest of justice, It not like theyre legal." And we have a little chuckle. At least once.

Good Luck. I will see if I can find that research of mine.

Is there a flag on the ticket? If there is, what kind. I mean the ratio of the flag.
If there is no flag on this ticket, bring it to their attention and tell them to correct it because you don't want to participate in mail fraud banking or vacate their position. "Mailfraud banking" is a 30 year 1 mil. dollar crime.
When new knowledge comes into your life, the "old" knowledge is discarded. There is nothing wrong to ask for something.
That ticket is a maritime vessel in the sea of space and EVERY maritime vessel MUST have flags to indicate JURISDICTION. The way the ticket is written, doesn't mean a d thing. Where is the flag to show that they have jurisdiction to do what they are doing? No flag, no jurisdiction. Simple.

"GET THEM" ON THEIR OWN PROCEDURES!!! Forget about "their laws". You can't win unless "they" allow it.
