Parents Beware, they're watching you!
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,306003,00.html
Does anyone else see the continuing dangerous trend here? I heard this story on Fox this morning, and it made me want to hurl. This kind of crap needs to be nipped in the bud. If this comes to your town/school, what will you do? A couple years ago, my sons high school gtot it's very own "in house" cop. Not a security guard, a fully armed agent from the local municipal police force. This guy would stop, interrogate, search at will, any victim he chose to. The minute I heard he wanted to frame my son for something, I raced over to the school and demanded to see the principal, and the cop together, they refused to meet with me. They also backed off, very quickly. We all need to do this, otherwise you'll deserve what you get. Read the story, get outraged.

What do you expect? They have sold bonds off of the birth certificates, so they see you as a caretaker of their collateral.
That is what these stories are REALLY about.

All the more reason for home schooling. Problem is, how do two working parents home school? Of course, not a problem if you're wealthy.

The family moves to where they are able to homeschool.

hello
robhalford88, my question has been all along....how does, and is there a way to 'break' the birth certificate contract so children are not 'collateral' of a state? I have a 10 year old daughter and a 17 year old son that I had applied for birth certificates, without knowing the consequences of doing so. My son will be 18 next March, and if this is the age that he can say f**k you to the state, you don't own me anymore!? What can one do to rectify this?

If you have a UCC 1 or similar document, then enter them on that so that you have a higher security interest than the government.
If you don't, then you would need to draw up a letter rogatory and affidavit to rebut the assumptions held by the gov.

I don't have a UCC-1 or similar document, so my step would be to do the letter and affidavit. Thanks robhalford88.

Wow, I wonder if putting your child on a UCC-1 would assist in family court custody proceedings.
