There is talk of shutting down 150 military installations nationwide... this is to start in 2006 and last over a phase of 6 years.... through 2012. What percentage of our known domestic military installations would this represent, anybody know?

I suppose we are to trust Motherland Security to protect the our homes and families, right?

I feel that there is only one phase left - that would be to implement a national sales tax. Everybody would love that, right! I mean... that means the IRS goes away!

But don't be suprised when all the excitement dies down and you find out you will need to use your national id to buy or sell. Why? For your own good, so the new tax can be tracked and you can get the proper refund, blah blah blah.

So, how long until the gloves come off and this mess really boils over?

It boils over right now. I am already angry about it.

This allows the tracking of everybody, even those of us using anonymous cash transactions as much as possible now. I figure the Real ID number will have to be entered into the darn database regardless of payment method, so "they" will always know where we are and what we purchase at any given time.

Yeah, I know I sound like a nut...sometimes I feel like one. I have worked hard to get OUT of as many databases as possible and convince the CRAs and credit card companies that I am dead!

So, how long before the government starts peddling our identity information for "targeted advertising" and those awful never ending credit card offers? Just to make a buck to "help maintain its database", of course.

As for the military closings, one must wonder how we are going to maintain security with no bases and/or personnel to fight? Perhaps they will outsource our military to India? Then they can deed all the former base land to Wal-Mart to build another sprawling box...

I think I'll just load up Ol Betsey and worry about my own old homestead. The government is a joke, but I quit laughing several years ago.

The Constitutional Republic is dead and will be buried shortly. No weeping or wake for this land will be required. The masses are now so brainwashed with that "Democracy" George Bush yaps about and the Dept. of Education's disinformation disseminated in the textbooks.

I suppose I could move to another country. It seems the only way to break the iron stranglehold our government places on citizens.

The Republic has been dead for a long time. There is so much corruption it is pathetic. People actually think the country can be saved and the Republic restored. With all that is happening and the speed with which it is taking place I am saddened to say it is lost forever. America is no longer the America our founding fathers gave to us. We have attorneys and judges that would not know the truth if it bit them. This is quite evident on another forum that I will not mention, but I am sure all know which one I speak of.

I have spoken on this board about how I believe there is no taking our courts or anything else in this country back. If that has not been evident to you before I am sure it is now. If this nation is to be restored we need to hear from YHWH. If we are to hear from Him we need to be on our faces praying for mercy for this once great nation. He is our only hope. That is MHO and I base it on what I have read and now see. I believe the end is very near that the Bible has prohesied to take place. There is no place that anyone can go to get away from what is to come.

This is not the religious section, but I have a question to ask anyway. Are you forgiven? If not I suggest you ask the Lord's forgiveness, because there may not be much time left. Tomorrow may never get here.

I do not believe the senate just blindly voted yes for this bill soley on the appropriations for the war in iraq, but then, I'm new at this.

Here's a theory why it could be 2007 or 2008.

A president can be elected for a 3rd term during a "crisis". Since we KNOW they have stuff planned tha'll make 911 look like a Sunday school class, maybe they need a "crisis(es) " to get the Skull & Bones puppet in there for another term just for consistency.

As far as corruption, that has been a fact of political life since the U.S. of A. was put together. It was the worst during the Grant Administration, nearly 150 ago, so I'm not sure that mere corruption is proof of the end of the U.S. of A.

The U.S. of A. will come to an end someday, just like ancient Rome, but we'll probably all be long dead by then. Just look at how long England has existed with basically the same form of government and with no foreseeable change on the horizon.

But I guess it is fun for some to predict the world will come crashing down as if somehow to validate their own miserable existences.

As far as "validating their own miserable existence" is concerned; please tell me whose existence are you referring to? Yours? I look at it as an exciting time. To me it means the Lord's return and that will be a great time indeed. It means all the corruption will be purged from existance. There will also be no more suffering. I eagerly await His return with great anticipation. Sounds to me like you are the one that has a miserable existence. That may be why you are so negative all the time. You have nothing to look forward to.
