Fly without Real Id

Not that anyone wants to get on an airplane unless they absolutely have to.

But the Real ID's mandates cover Driver's licenses... so what about folks who already have a higher form of ID from the state department called a Passport?

Would like to see some discussion on this...

If so, there are no absolutes, and the only logical conclusion is that reality, truth, and right and wrong are determined arbitrarily on a daily basis by those with the most power, guns, and money, and the rest of us can choose to run, fight, or be their slaves.

There have been several "news" reports that they want the biometric passport as well.

There is a passport thread where someone posted the recommendations from some articles, which was, get your 10 year passport right away before they also incorporate the biometrics RFID chips.

The goverment then gave it a spin saying they will not use RFID chips, instead they call them "contacless chips" which is the same crap.

The last time I was doing some financial transactions I used my passport because I did not want to provide my DL, it worked but it has expired now and I have to renew it.

Flying without real id

I believe any government issued photo ID should be able to be used for identication purposes only, even if expired.

Someone I know recently got his passport with only his birth certificate, a 5+ year old Sams club card (the only photo ID he has other than an IDL), and affidavits from two family members. He should now be able to fly anywhere using the passport without the Real Id. Oh, and he did not provide a SSN.

Anyway, I updated my passport a few months back. It was still good for about 7 years but I needed to correct my status in their computers anyway... kill two birds with one stone.

Anyhow, when you post in this thread, mention "real id" and "flying". The goal here is not only to discuss air travel without the Real Id, but to get a high ranking so others searching for flying without the Real ID will find this page when searching the internet.

So, lets have some fun without Real Id.

suijuris,

How did you update your status? What were you updating your status to? I have just renewed passports for my kids and they ask if you are a u.s. citizen and have the IRS statement/clause in there.

I am just a little leary of renewing my passport, due to the fact that I don't want to be mistating my status to give the fed's jurisdiction.

any and all feedback is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I used the family guardian form that notated my citizenship status as a national rather than a citizen... if you search my older posts you may be able to find where I was talking about it more, I believe it would have been in the citizenship forum.

Question Real ID Act

Thanks suijuris for the info.

I do wonder if there is a "jurisdiction" issue here. I have partially read the REAL ID Act and find some interesting wording in it that could make this more a municipal law confined to the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa, the Northern Mariana Islands, the Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands, and any other territory or possession of the United States.

I am doing more research and come back with more thoughts and perspective.

In the way the wording is in the REAL ID Act, you will have the people following suit like thaey do with the IRS.

That is what they always do chuckhs12.

In the great book called "The Federal Zone" the author explains very well that point.

He mentions, the congress can legislate all they want for the US (the corporation, the Federal Zone, only DC and the rest of the locations you mentioned in your post) as they wish with no limitations whatsoever, however when congress legislate for these United States (the union of the 50 sovereign states) they have the limitations of the constitution and the amendments to it.

Now, all that is well in paper, in reality, anyone that would not be fooled by it, still gets the shaft because they blackmail the 50 states into following suit by holding out money or whatever means necessary to force it on everyone.

Not to mention that most likely the States may be just corporations as well just as as the US is (the corporation) or they may be enclaves of the US corp. treating everyone like subjects to congress and the US corp.

Yet how many people have been successful in convincing private employers that their earnings should not be turned over to the IRS, to the tune of two trillion dollars? How many private and government employers require a government photo I.D. now in order to get a job?

How many of us are brave enough to stop using a driver’s license and travel freely, and risk attacked by Mr. Policeman, even though it is clear that we have a right to travel free from state issued documents. Both the federal and state government just lie and mislead the people, over and over.

“17 TECHNIQUES FOR TRUTH SUPPRESSION”

In additions, the federal government will require the Real ID to get on a plane or train, because the people foolishly asked that they run these things, mostly after 9/11. Also, there is an issue of interstate commerce inherent with such travel. And I am sure there is a plan to cover bus travel soon. You will need it to enter a government building.

If states will not sign on the program, the people of that state will not be able to fly, use the train, and I am sure that many federal funds will be withheld. Will the states stick to their guns? The Department of Transportation (DOT) is a multi-state scheme that individual states could pull out of, how many have?

The shopping market already requires such government ID for alcohol, tobacco, and firearms purchases, what when you need government ID to buy a piece of fruit (we don’t want to feed terrorist, do we)? How will the people will to protect themselves?

Do we just want to get our future generation hooked on drugs, so that they are completely dependant on government?

http://famguardian.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=430

If We the People would says no to this stuff it would go away. Unfortunately, too many people think of a driver’s license as a gift from the government. If the states don’t go along the federal government may back down, otherwise, it will be like taxes, both the state and the federal government will fight to rob the people. The people will wonder why they are broke and enslaved, with V-Chip implants, by the nice government.
