The UN is as corrupt as the government, possibly more considering what is coming out in the Oil for Food mess. Why is the UN making policies of any kind, anyway? That was not its original function.

The US needs to drop its membership and move it offshore...to France, maybe. If France would even have it.

We, the people contribute the bulk of the money to this evil organization which gets spread all over the world (to terrorists?)

Florida suffered massive damages during last year's hurricane season. I did not see the UN rushing in to help or asking other nations to help.

What is wrong with this picture? Grr!

The UN has tried several times to acquire the authority to levy taxes.

In an effort to block the U.N. tax possibility, Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, successfully added an amendment to an appropriation bill that prohibits any appropriation from being used to "... develop, publicize, implement or impose any U.N. tax or fee on any U.S. citizen."

Does anyone here think that the UN will some day accomplish its goal to tax? Will the people of the United States stand for it?

Depends if you want to be a U.S Citizen or NOT,

I don't believe that there is language in the bill levying Florida Nationals(Floridians)
