I wonder if this comment will bring unwanted attention, but here goes. (I am not scared of speaking the truth, especially when they should have addressed this issue long ago.)

In the area where I shelter my body, About 45 minutes to the east, there is a huge tank farm (Petroleum) on the Colonial Pipeline. Many trucks from a multi state area go there to get fuel to transport to their individual gas stations.

This tank farm is within 35 yards of I-40, and the only thing separating the tank farm from the highway is a chain link fence.

How many times have I wondered when I traveled by this location, why they (Colonial Pipeline, or the gubmint) haven't put up at the very least a 3 foot concrete pylon barrier on the side of the highway. [if I onwed the pipeline, I'd be putting up a blast wall.]

Growing up in this area, it has been common knowledge that during the cold war, tank farms were a target) If so, this whole region will stop. There will be no gasoline, diesel, etc. for a long time. (thoughts of the infamous suitcase nukes come to mind, or the recent drudgereport mention of this explosive situation)

I mean, cmon, a chain link fence?

And they say we are safer because of "Homeland Security." Horse S**t.

Opium harvesting is said by the DEA and authorities to be extremely difficult. However such is a mistruth told to prevent people from ever trying to grow their own opium.


The same goes with nuclear weapons--especially if you encompass dirty bombs. There's a lot of mythology surrounding their development with claims that production of fissile materials requires multi-million dollar equipment and so forth and so on.



If you consider that in the 1950s they developed bombs with absolutely-ludicrous-ridiculous-awful power utilizing stuff that is comparably quite low tech today, what might a handful of people be able to accomplish today with those same inexpensive, low-tech-yet-improved contraptions coupled with high-speed computational devices?

Could it be that fissile Uranium is actually easily obtainable in something as 'peaceful' as a traincar filled with coal? Let's not forget things like dirty bombs which could be made from nuclear waste or even noxiously irradiated matter. What would one do with loads of soil that had been put under the energy of a high-power X-ray machine [or worse--a CAT scan machine] for a few days or weeks?

I know a guy who [circa 1996] wrote warnings for the United States Department of State concerning what he called "micro nukes" and "micro fusion bombs" and the threat they could pose to the Americas.



He had his apartment robbed and a key (hidden) computer stolen. According to the cops those involved had ties to both Japan and Germany. Hmm...go figure?

However, whats more likely a threat than homebrew devices is that more than a few "broken arrows" either of Russian or American origin have likely found their way into a few questionable places.

P.S. If you dont believe the holes in the Ozone layer were caused by nukes...well...who knows what to tell you?

That neat diagram seems to be lacking a line from the second (U-238) to the material. Maybe just an oversight...

As to poppy fields; some years ago my parents had poppies growing around their garden areas (to discourage deer, rabbits, and moles). Then the INSANE laws were passed that BB can take your land and imprison yo butt if they find a poppy on your property.
I don't have a cite; but I've read some stories...

Anyways, I had a hard time getting rid of the poppies every spring. -
