When i heard the next day that there was massive damage after hearing the previous day New Orleans dodge a bullit,my first thoughts were wiley e govt blew up the dikes. In 1972 in the area in pa that i lived in a similar story was told that local officials blew up a dike in the town i lived in to get their filthy hands on govt money to rebuild.Uncle Sam is not different than John Candys character in splash,if it works he sticks with no matter how pathetic and disgusting it is.
