cool link ya the spin is everywhere
here is another interesting bit on "peak oil"
http://www.vialls.com/wecontrolamerica/peakoil.html
although this technology exists it is very expensive and it took like 24 years to punch the hole in the ground.
It seems to me the term peak oil gets thrown around and although we have the technology to get more oil is it cost effective I think you have to look at the bottom line it was cheaper to go to war and the the last remaining cheap oil that is left. The middle east oil is super cheap to get and the economy needs the super cheap oil to keep going.
Plus lets look at the fact that the Federal reserve has been printing money out of thin air for so long that even if there was an abundance of oil the price is still going to go up and up and up
from the liberty dollar website
http://www.libertydollar.org/
Remember when gas was only 25-cents a gallon? You could take a dollar down to the gas station and buy four gallons for a buck! Well, guess what? At that time our dollar was backed by real silver that is now worth $10 and it still buys four gallons of gas! That just proves silver holds its value and it is the green paper money that is now worth a lot less. As a matter of fact, when you think about it, you realize that gas, food, and almost everything else has NOT gotten more expensive. It only seems that way because the value of the green paper money is worth less and less and so it takes more and more of it to buy the same goods. Most people think prices have gone up, but in reality: it is the value of the US dollar that has actually gone down. Luckily, now there is a simple and profitable solution to the coming inflation.

Cheap oil?
I'm not sure who thinks the war is over "cheap oil" if it is, I doubt we'll ever see it. IMHO a big part of the war (and the peak oil hokum) is to maintain the illusion of scarcity so they can further enslave us with skyrocketing energy costs.
Exxon mobil wouldn't have posted a 10 BILLION dollar profit this quarter if the Iraqi wells were chugging away and pump prices were 99 cents a gallon.

the federal reserve is still printing money out of thin air with inflation nothing will stay cheap anymore. A ounce of silver or gold still buys what it always has. I'm just saying the oil in the middle east is cheap to acuire and everyone wants it. again with inflation nothing will be cheap anymore. The Federal reserve system was created to slowly errode all of americans out of there money inflation is just a tax. with regars to "peak oil" weather its a scam or not it doesn't really matter the Federal reserve notes in your pocket won't be worth anything anyway in a matter of time.
Also how much oil can there be the world burns somthing like 88 million barrels a day how long can that go on places like china are starting to just explode. there has to be a point where demand excedes supply.

Do some research on "abiotic oil"
There is some very credible science that points to that fact that the earth produces oil through reactions deep within. The whole dinosaur theory does not stand up to any scrutiny if you look at facts.
The Oil companies, media, publishing industry, education system, and governments are all owned by the same clique of bankers. Trust that they have no desire to make the truth publicly known. Even the term "fossil fuel" is newspeak created and thrown around to keep the myth going that the dinosaurs are running out and to mislead people away from even considering the REAL source of oil/methane/etc.
Like in 1984, by destroying or creating words you can remove peoples ability to think about things that you don't want them to consider. The term fossil fuel forces you into a box and no one even considers that other planets have methane atmospheres...does that mean they had dinosaurs? Not likely, hydrogen and carbon are very common elements in the universe, and there are intense heat, preassure, and possibly nuclear reactions inside the earth that can make coal carbon into a diamond. Anyway, do some research and make up your own mind. IMHO the dinosaur theory is full of holes and just another illusion to keep us enslaved and scared.

You are absotutely right. Oil is created by microbes, but still an alternative source of energy is needed so we can stop dumping billions of tons of hydrocarbons, toxic chemicals and particals into the air water and soil so we can have an healther environment to live. Ah but what do the super rich care they eill make there money at the expense of us and our planet then use that money to go some where else, don't believe me do some research your self, look up "alternative 3"

You might check out the prophesy by Kim Clement in the religion forum wherein he prophesied a new energy source was being developed. Months ago I was e-mailed an article detailing how oil fields had measured amounts of oil that the critical point of50% of reserves was going to be reached by May of 2006. At that point the fields would slow production way down due to lack of pressure from reaching the 50% mark, chaos would ensue from lack of oil. Then 2 weeks later I get another article that said the exact opposite, that the Russians had developed deep drilling techniques that would reach new reserves, we would never run out of oil, etc. Both articles seemed very well researched and knowledgeable. Think how eveyone felt 100 years ago when it got harder and harder to find whales to harvest for whale oil and then new energy sources were found. Something new will come.

This is the basis of a theory by a man whose name escapes me, ca. 1950s; James Brown, developer/designer of written/spoken language called Loglan used that theory.
The theory essentially says that how we think is directly limited by the words used to describe the thoughts.
there's obviously more to it, but that's the essence.
I comprehend it this way: words reveal the inner thoughts we build, and with those thoughts represented by words we communicate with others and allow them to read our minds via spoken and written symbols.
hence, where it is written, "your ways are not my ways and your thoughts are not my thoughts."
To that, it is my practice/habit to respond in kind to our heavenly father, I say "your ways ARE my ways and your thoughts ARE my thoughts!"
doesnt it also say that we are to `put on the mind of christ,' which is the anointing of god?
that's my 0.00002 cents ;)

I love my brother kim! heh. i just wish his mailing list didnt focus on commercial stuff so much. oh well, he too has a ministry to support...
umm, another one of our brothers who has an more relevent ministry to what we're doing here, David Barton in Texas. His ministry is the meaning and work of what the Founding Fathers did.
He documents everything - his library is awesome.
Of course there is also Randy Lee of mention lately here
