There are, in my opinion, four, high quality radio stations on the Web that I believe broadcast about 75% of interesting music inthe case of first two.

Two are at http://1.fm

1) Club or Trance section.

2) Chill section

I recommend listening to them via Itunes.
Look for Radio section under "Source" heading.
Then, choose "Electronica" subsection.
You will see 1.fm there at 128 kbs.

In that section you would, also, find
3) XTC Radio from London, http://XTCRadio.com which in my opinion gives about
50% of deep trance and some so, so.

It is listed at 160 kbs but the quality of sound is considerably lower than that of 1.fm at 128 kbs.

I also wonder what else is involved as quality of broadcast doesn't match the claim by XTC Radio?

Can get it, also, in Itunes in Electronica at 192 kbs or directly from the Website.


Sample rate is listed as 44,100 KHz for all four.


A Question:

Does anyone have any links to free New Age, Ambient, Space style music via any Player at the minimum 128 kbs besides SomaFM?

If yes, please post.

Whenever can, try to listen to individual tracks you wish to purchase through private providers as many allow at least 10 - 30 sec preview.

Too often, we purchase CD only to find out that the advertised track was the only one truly great, the rest were mediocre if not worse.

That reminds me of a commercial clip for a movie about to come out.

The clip-trailer is so awesome, while the rest of the movie can give you a reason why it is so comfortable sleeping in movie theaters at times.

"Truth is whole - not partial," that applies everywhere.
