Re:What's your favorite BEER?
First let me agree with dochand about the Asspartame (misspell intentional). If you want to be a teetotaler, be one about Asspartame. (Not saying you are a teetotaler)
Jim,
If you have never tried it, you simply MUST search out Liberty Ale. Not only does it have a name that is worthy of the membership here, it is more than a beer. it is a highly advanced upper crust beer. I consider it higher quality than Sam Smith's.
Try it, you won't be dissapointed.

Thanks for the 'heads-up' on Liberty Ale. Don't know if I've ever seen it here on the east coast. But you can be certain I'll look into it.

Lots of Lowe's Foods and Harris Teeter's carry it/ Don't look for it at Food Lion. They carry mostly swill.
Here is a distributor map for Anchor Brewing:

How to do a hyperlink in a post is beyond me

Re:What's your favorite BEER?
Never heard of any of those establishments in my area, but I'll try the local distributor. He carries quite a number of different brands and varieties.
Hope he carries Liberty.
My mouth's watering already.
I'll let you know,

What's your favorite BEER?
If any of you come through Winnipeg anytime soon, dodging the Draft perhaps, I will treat you to a Fort Gary Dark. Micro Brewed here in the 'Peg, you won't regret it. But it has to be on tap. So if your dodging the Draft, come on up for a Draft....Hmmm, that's going to need some work. On the bright side for the Draft Dodgers, the beer is much better up here, no offence, I find American beer a little watered down.

What's your favorite BEER?
Well, I worked for Coors for 30 years, so I have to say I like their beer. Best one they make is Killian's. I now work for a small micro brewery in Idaho Springs Colorado called Tommyknocker. They make about 7,000 barrals a year compaired to the 23 million at Coors. As far as a favorite beer, its always the free ones. I tend to buy heavy beers like Gunnis Stout. Best heavy beer I ever found was Xingu from the indians along the amazon river. It's pronounced shingu and a brewery in South America makes it uining all the same ingreadints, but they pitch yeast instead of chewing the stuff up and spitting it into something to ferment. I have been a home brewer for over 35 years and I have made some real interesting brews. One of those is root beer beer. Quite good. I like beers of all kinds and colors and haven't found one I wouldn't drink. I like to talk about beer, and I know way to much on the subject. As a matter of fact, I think I'll go get one now. All this talk about it has me longing for something.

What's your favorite BEER?
Fermented bread and oranges, damn, my bad, i thought i was still in jail. Now, being from the hood, i used to like schiltz malt liquor, colt 45, 8 ball, red bull, and all kinds of stuff with snakes and **** on the cover when i was broke, then when i got older and started making a little "money", i graduated to heineken, lowenbrau, and michelob. now that my stomach cant handle liquor too much anymore, ill sip on a little budweiser here and there.

What's your favorite BEER?
[color=black][b]In my four years of recovery from drug & alcohol abuse, I treat myself to a 6'er of warsteiners or anchor steam when I'm with family during the holidays. I have to make sure other people are drinking so I don't guzzle it all. I have learned to pace & really enjoy a good quality beer without the desire to get rocked .
However, I do not treat myself to the dubes, lines, & hits, or ever plan on it again-In Jesus Name.

I'm not too picky about beer. It all tastes like crap to me except for this microbrew in Annapolis called Fordham. I'll usually just drink Coors or maybe Killians Red.
I'm really a wine man. I'm really liking Pinot Grigio lately. It tastes great and is less filling.
