Mental block huh

......now I've heard everything. Why not just blame it on the gun why don't ya.
What I like to do is just use a pump bb rifle and get a stack of targets. My targets have numbers in each ring. I count the bullseye as 10 pts. the 9, 8, 7, etc out to the edge. Each shooter gets 3 shots and you play about 5 rounds and then count up the points.
The barrel is rifled but it's still just an air gun. The bb does go wacky every now and then but it's consistent enough to get better at aiming. I got a rifle with a scope too. That makes it more fun. Just trying to steady that thing on the center is a task in itself.
I have always wanted to try skeet shooting. I wish there was a place around here to go.
One of my favorite online games to play is called 'Call Of Duty'. It's a first person shooter game. You are a soldier in a WWII battle. It's your team against the other team. You try to see who can get the most kills before the time runs out. Sort of like digital paint ball. You have an assortment of WWII weapons including MP 44, Thompson, Pssh, Springfield sniper rifle, .45 pistol, panzer faust. Oh yeah, you can hop into a tank and terrorize the enemy camp too. Thats a lot of fun. The tank has a main gun and a coaxial 50 mm for mowing down infantry. Be warned...this game is highly addictive.
