Check out this Flick

Equilibrium

In a futuristic world (not far off from where it's going now),
a strict regime has eliminated war by suppressing emotions: Books, art and music are strictly forbidden, and feeling is a crime punishable by death---a rule that's enforced by feeding the denizens a mood-limiting drug...John Preston (Christian Bale) is a top government official responsible for destroying those who resist the rules....

Matrix overtones, yet a very dramatic rendition of where we are heading.

Rent it!

another good one

Ya, definitely enjoyed that movie. I barely heard about it...probably because of the Matrix.

Another great movie to check out is Dark City. The Matrix actually reminded me of this movie when I saw it.

It is about a group of aliens changing our lives and memories on a daily basis to try and find the soul. And, like the Matrix, one man starts to break free of the system and fight it.

Great Review

Upon hearing the high praise of this movie, I went to my friend working at the Blockbuster video and bought it.

I was very pleased. That was a very entertaining movie. I am glad to have it added to my collection.

I also very much enjoyed Christian Bale's portrayal of Batman in the new adaptation.
