Signing up for Juvi

My Cousin lives in the San Diego area and the School tricked her into signing a form that states if her son misses another day of class he will go to Juvi. Is there anyway to cancel this contract within 24 hours or so, she honestly didnt know what she was signing because she didnt read it like a dummy, and the woman told her what it was after.
I dont have kids I dont know anything about this stuff, I told her to go back in there on monday and ask to read what she signed and rip the damn thing up.

quite possible

I'm not really sure, but maybe there is a time period for canceling a contract. Ask David Merrill, I think I saw it written in one of his posts about a time period for canceling contracts. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Cancellation has to happen monday

put it in affidavit format with a notary

Rescind it nunc pro tunc (look it up - I'm not your dictionary) to the date it was signed originally

State that it was done on accident

Thanks for the advice. Sometimes people have thick skulls ( she keeps changing her mind back and forth) .I found out this is a special school he is enrolled in but part of the public school system. She also agreed to pay $100 a day every day he is absent LOL.Maybe some people just have to learn the hard way. I just feel bad for the kid though, he has a's and b's but he misses classes, I know some of those people in Juvi make John Wayne Gacey look like Mr Rogers.

Thanks for your help.
