Marriage license recinding in missouri...

Where do I start to recind my marriage license with the state of missouri?I went to the download section but the form was for Mn and listed statutes for that state.I read somewhere on the forum that an ad could be ran in the local paper to recind or revoke the license. My wife and I don't care to be married to the state nor do we want the state to be able to touch our children. Please any direction would be most appreciated. Maximus

You would probably record a 'Notice of the Non-Existence of Marriage License' at the county recorder where the original marriage license was recorded. In that notice you would refer back to the recording number on the original marriage license. I do not know how you would word such a document-- but that how I believe it is done. You could run an ad in your local newspaper, but I don't know if that is an absolute requirement for what you want to do.

Send a message via Yahoo to squirrel
I though I had provided a templet for that very reason to sui-juris, but after looking in the download section, I see it is'nt there.

If you give me till sunday I could email a templet to you.
