After you click on the link in the thread noted above, look at top left for "Child Welfare Handbook" and "Domestic Violence Benchbook" as both are pertinent for this forum.

I was looking through that DV book... Seems that the judge is now expected to psycho-analyze the people before him, and leverage his superior psychology education (gained from this wonderful book) against the man accused of "domestic violence". So, it is now "trial by pseudo-psychology/political rhetoric", rather than bothering with this nonsense of "law", "rights" and "freedoms". Trial by jury is not a right in DV cases? Wow. This crap is so way out on a limb the judges should start wearing fuzzy grey suits and stuff their mouth with nuts before starting the proceeding.
