I was discussing the coming times with a dear friend of mine yesterday and she was telling me about something she has learned lately. I have yet to research and validate it for myself yet, but she says that studies have shown that in Chernobyl if the people's thryroids would have had adequate stores of potassium they would have survived the nuclear fallout.
according to my friend, there is a company called Eniva that sells a potassium product that even the government says is the most absorbable, highest quality of potassium. And she also says that she has been taught that if there is nuclear fallout one should be taking potassium on a regular basis before anything occurs and then if it should occur to take extra doses for 14 days. So she's been stocking up.
