Attention Deficit
My memorization skills in studying are above average, but I am extremely absent minded. I refuse to take man made poison for it, so I took Ginko Boloba liquid extract to help. The only problem was, I kept forgetting to take the Ginko.
Anyway, here are some things I do to overcome the handicap:
When someone is talking to you, repeat back in your mind what they are saying to you as they are talking, almost like a mental teleprompter.
When exercising, I can barely count to 25 sometimes, so I count in sets of 5 or some set. The left index I extend as set one, then on the right hand I count each rep. After the fingers are all extended, I start set 2 w/my left middle inger & repeat the process till 5 sets of 5 are counted.
When driving, I forget certain stops or turns I am supposed to make.
So I repeat to myself out loud 10 times in a row where I have to go.
I forget to take necessary items out, so I stage them near the front door the night before
