Books For Natural Cures

Does anyone have a good book on natural cures? We lost health insurance coverage 9 months ago and have discovered that doing things naturally have been a God send. Insurance coverage would have been around $1000.00 a month. That's more than a lot of people's house payment. Since losing health insurance, I have gathered some good health points from the forum. Any additional knowledge would be appreciated, especially for hiatal hernias and allergies.

Recently somebody turned me onto Purslane. It turns out to be growing a bumper crop in the old tomato vine bins. It is a weed to most but you will find many chemical breakdowns and mighty praise with a simple Google search. Not only that, you will find it all over the place.

In light of Katrina I find it a relief that it is difficult to go more than 100 feet without discovering a patch of Purslane. Ranch Dressing is recommended for a wonderful flavor experience.

There is a report that Purslane stops the spreading of breast cancer. Well, now considering any woman without breast cancer who eats a bit of Purslane daily it makes sense she will never develop breast cancer?

Not that I am thinking about breasts (I am), but as I go on in years I have noticed the urge to pee in the middle of the night. This is troublesome because it indicates an enlarged prostate. In a couple weeks of eating Purslane I am back to a full night's sleep and no rush to the bathroom in the morning too!

I looked in my Heinerman's Encyclopedia of Herbs, Fruits and Vegetables yesterday and no mention of Purslane. (frown) Albeit it seems to be a pretty good source for the cure for skin cancer. (St. John's Wort)

Regards,

David Merrill.

As I sat in a diner, I noticed a table advertisement. In the advertisement was a URL for fixdiabetes.net. Their product was rather expensive. When I did a search on the company, I found that they also sold all natural cures for allergies. Does anyone know anything about this site?

Hi all,

Don't know about books but there are several good sites.

http://doctoryourself.com/

http://curezone.com/

If someone told me I was dying, this is the Doctor I would go see. At one time he had a clinic where he did an incurables program. Doctors would send him patients that they knew would die. Imagine everyones surprise when the patients started walking out of the clinic healthy.

That should get you started. Good luck with your health.
