To be blunt about the government and food/drug regulation.
If the government assumes the duty, to promote poison and call it good is fraud.
We may want government "off our back" but the Founding Fathers weren't pushing for anarchy. They were pushing for government as limited as possible. Clearly, some government is needed.
However, it is a sacred and fiduciary trust. If the government is supposed to protect health and welfare and then turns around to approve drugs and food additives that are dangerous, they are committing criminal fraud on the people.
