Ok, I know I'm "different" but for a headache, I...
Reboot. {my term for it}
Has asnyone else ever tried this?
Don't ask me where I learned it, because I honestly don't know.
Sometimes, if I have a headache that just seems to nag and nag, I "reboot."
I swear, it works every time, but it's freaky.
I sit somewhere that I am not going to fall over, lean my head back, and with my thumb and my index finger, I press into each carotid artery hard enough to stop circulation to my brain.
After about 5-10 seconds, my hand is forced to release, as I am quivering uncontrollably (but still slightly aware, and not unconscious) and I start to regain control.
When this happens, my ears buzz, kinda like I have just been boxed good up side the head, but it doesn't hurt.
Sometimes I do it up to three times, but it never takes more than that. I then feel refreshed, and ready to get back to kicking some...
I don't recommend this, but it works for me, and every time it blows my mind. (pardon the pun)
