Powerful 'Homemade' Disinfectant

Using white vinegar (diluted if necessary) along with hydrogen peroxide is known to be more effective as a disinfectant than straight bleach.

Scenario:

1) Place diluted vinegar (or full strength) in a spray bottle.
2) Place 3% hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle.
3) Spray the surfaces (or mist air) with vinegar
4) Follow by spraying the surface with hydrogen peroxide

Disinfected.

One of the most effective mildew removers I've used in old moldy basements (kept the mold down for MONTHS) was diluted vineger misted in the air to knock down mold spores and on various surfaces.

P.S. White vinegar is known to also makes a good bleach substitute in the laundry.

Most spray bottles are 23 oz.

So how much vinegar ?

Using food grade peroxide (35%) in a vaporizer does wonders this time of the year. Great as a nasal spray and for using in your ears.

General dilution is 11 ozs of peroxide to 1 oz of water. It can be stronger if needed.

Great in the hot tub and the pool.

A soak once a week in the tub with food grade peroxide is very healthy and relaxing aslo. After the soak, use the bath water for your gardens. It will kill fungus, viruses and bacteria. It does the soil and plants wonders. After six months of use, the body starts healing, scars start to disappear (depending on the depth of the scar). A scar that went to the bone and was the length of an eight year old's leg and the width of an inch is just a pencil line.

Two years and no doctors to see for anything.
