Try the 3 day program
fasting w/physically demanding stuff is rough. I remember during one of my idealist phases, I was on Day 2 or 3 of the fast & I tried going for a 3.5 mile jog. I barely made mile 2, and when I did, the walk home felt like a really could've died that day.
Try This
On the day of your day off, immediately after shift, eat the one kind of fruit.
Make sure you drink the psyllium husk powder/apple juice or cider mixture that day & at night. The Publix here in town sells organic, but the Mott's 'll do.
The next day, hand squeeze or juice(if you have citrus juicer) enough lemons to make a cup.
Pour that & 1 cup honey into a gallon of distilled water, chill, & drink during the course of the fast.
Drink the powder/apple juice shake mornings & night
Day 3, eat fruit & salad all day w/the shake program.
That should blow ya out pretty good
