Land Patents

Has anyone tried to file a land patent in the state of Ohio? I recently tried and was told that they dont file land patents I live in Columbus, Ohio and they told me at the Franklin County recorders office and was told that they dont file Land Patents in Ohiobut they took copies of my patent and told me that they would get back with me to let me know if they could file it

I would like a sample of update of patent form if someone would be so kind right now I am at a stand still in this situation and I am new to this whole thing but I am a

strong willed being so I will not give up but I am asking for help on this subject

Real Life,

What authorization did they have to refuse your filing?

Whom are they to refuse a filing?

If they are working outside of their duties then they can be personally liable for their actions. Its called, "Ultra Vires".

How can they refuse it and then take it to see if they can file it? this does not pass the smell test.

If they can provide you with some authority that they can't do that--then that is one thing. But to just tell you they can't and won't, is another matter altogether.

You still have not answered the question.

By what authority can they refuse that filing?

Okay,

Now you're thinking like a sovereign. Now you need to find the statute or rules governing their job description and then the rules that they will be held liable for if those rules are broken. get that documentation before going down there.

Next, take a notary with you as a first hand witness of the events. Do not reveal that the person with you is a notary--if they ask then that is another matter but don't volunteer any information.

Let them break the rules in front a disinterested third party public official.

When you have a notary as a witness--that is like having 2 witnesses.

Did you say there is going to be a Sheriff's sale of your property ?

I assume that you have had some sort of judgment against you in regards to your property. You might want to begin researching "void judgments".

Folks, ya gotta remember that if you want any good advice, suggestions or opinion then you must give really good details.
