Right, title, and interest
I have a question I hope someone can answer.
I'm asking about the word "interest" missing from the original divestment of unappropriated lands from the territory of Washington to the United States and then its emergence on the land patent issued from the United States to the individual circa 1900.
The people of the territory did this: "people inhabiting...forever disclaim all right and title" to the unappropriated lands to the United States - note missing word "interest"
The United States then did this: "grant all right, title, and interest" to the individual.
Other than the concept of split or fractured title can this be explained?
Thanks
