That my Land Patent was an act of removal from "registration"..... She called 2 days ago asking for the filing number & book number that it's filed in. This is a concern to me because the file number is on the face page of the copy of the land patent she already had.
I had taken it into her office a few weeks after obtaining it, asking her clerk to remove the property from records. It seems they would like nothing better than to vitiate the land patent. I have some confidence tha can't happen. Your thought?

Saber8,
I have read your post and you are doing it right. I have no wish to defend the bureaucracy, but we must also rememebr that these folks are still people. There are lazy ones, productive ones, forgetful ones, and those with "bad hair" days.
What I am aiming for is this:
We must, when dealing with these folks, remember to be dispasionate and professional, watching our language and temper control. This is not to say nor infer you personnally are doing any thing wrong, but more for other readers of this forum.
When you filed your paperwork, the clerk may have been VERY productive, and filed it immediately. ALthough, perhaps in the wrong place. As well, the collector was probably dis organized that day, and did not /could not/ would not care to.. find your paperwork. Remember the mentality.
