Recommended Material - Land Patent Seminar

Members,

For any of you learning about land patents, I recommend listening to the seminar on Land Patents by Eric Madsen.

http://www.teamlaw.org/LandPatents.ram

It requires Real Media Player... enjoy!

Re:Recommended Material - Land Patent Seminar

I found the following website on how to secure a land patent (step-by-step):

http://www.theawaregroup.com/securelandpat.htm

Can anyone comment that has the Johnny Liberty book or other information source? The other sources I've seen on the internet talk about Land Patents, their history, etc, but not a how-to like this one.

I'd like to get my mom's land patent in place.

rushpat,

Remember, the Land Patent is already in place... all you need do is assert rights in the Patent.

I would suggest that you read the decision in the Summa Corp. case, some of which can be found in the Land Patent download.

Re:Recommended Material - Land Patent Seminar

Ice, where would I find the application/paperwork for filing a land patent?

Re:Recommended Material - Land Patent Seminar

gregtu,

There is no application -- what is used is an Affidavit.& There is an example posted in one of the threads in this section -- I believe the thread was started by Don and the example was posted by kgod.

Also, downloads section contains a document titled "Land Patents" -- check it out.
