OK, Am I in the twilight zone?

I am getting ready to fight my mortgage/Equity line on several fronts.

1. CPN/ ask for VOD

2. Land Patent (I am going to attempt this, and If it can be done in my case, I WILL do it)

3. make them produce the note when they try to foreclose. (fight tooth and nail by sticking to the basic "show me the note or verification of the debt.")

Is there anyone on this board who has had a success with any of the above(with discharging mortgage and/or equity loans, and if so, can you fill me in on what I might be able to expect?

I cannot go back and take the red pill, so here I am in the train station waiting on your answers.

Thanks

HB

(I am doing this for my wife's sanity. I am already insane.)

In all things, you must pick and choose your battles. From my own family's experience, I would definitely make sure your wife is totally on board with this. My dad decided to battle the IRS back in the mid-80's and he did not seek my mom's approval, and they lost their house, and it put a tremendous strain on their relationship for the remainder of his life.

Do everything you can to protect your home first. If you do decide to go this route, do the Land patent first, then the rest. The basic rules are:

Protect your assets

Get educated

Take action

In that order. If you don't, you'll probably lose. Do you owe more on the house than it would sell for?
