The house and the land are two separate issues.

One can claim land that has not been claimed---so you may want to look into a land patent.

Quiet Title action is used when there is a dispute over ownership and is used to establish one owner and that's it. (in a nutshell)

I have a land patent on some land and in the downloads section is a template ready to go--just fill in the blanks. I do not agree with boilerplate docs but, that one is really good.

Read up on land patents and leave that UCC stuff alone.

Not quite right

I believe the discussion around the 'Title' was to start a "Quiet Title Action"; that is to say to eliminate the dissidence or 'noise' or 'clouds on the title', ie to "Quiet" it.

Quiet Title.

Although, I was foreclosed on and evicted from my home in April 2005, the house has still not been sold.

I believe it's due to the many docs that I have filed on the house, cases I filed, etc. One of those docs being my UCC1 with the legal description of the property. Also, I believe the IRS has a lien still filed against the property. So to make a long story short, I believe anyone looking to buy this property, probably sees all these docs that are recorded and just doesn't want to mess with it.

Is there any info out there on how to win back a property?

What kind of foreclosure?

Mortgage?

Tax?

If it was a tax foreclosure, and the taxing authorities did not sell it, you may be able to go down and simply pay off the taxes due and still redeem the property. The taxing authorities don't really want your property ... they want you to pay your taxes. If you pay, you might get it back.

If it's a mortgage foreclosure, check to see how long you have to redeem after the mortgage foreclosure.

Let me get this straight.

You're asking the same people who fed you the "UCC redemption techniques" BS which made you lose your house in the first place how to get it back?

What's wrong with this picture?

Title washes at the sale

In a foreclosure sale, the title "washes" or is wiped clean. One of the things that a judge does is give clear and marketable title to the new buyer, even if it is the bank that mortgaged it. All liens go away.
