Check the "Summa Corp" cites in the Land Patent download. It is a Corp., and they did beat the State in Fed Court.

Why is the land not in your family anymore? Was it sold, or was it simply taken by the bank? Need more info please.

More details about the LAND . . . who lives on it ? is there any liens on it ? How was control of the property lost ? How did the banks and realty companies come to have anything to do with the land ?

And has anyone else noticed how many different court houses have burned down and suffered a loss of these vital records ?

Was it sold, foreclosed on, simply taken? You must have some idea of how it was removed from your family. People cannot simply show up and build a house on some land.

Or did the State just "Assume" title since nobody else claimed the land? Is that what you're saying?

Have you tried the B L M ? If you give them the patent number they may have more info for you. If you really want to do anything with the patent you have then you need to be able to produce more evidence than just the copy that you have. They will claim that your copy is fraudulent and ignore you or try to persecute you if you were to attempt any action based upon that copy alone.
