Like carp down at the marina, one over against the other seeing who might overpower the other in selfish pursuit...

The whole world crowded shoulder to shoulder pushing and shoving to see who might better position themselves even at the cost of their brethren...

Throw a few crums out over the waters and see them respond... If it wasn't for God's mercies we would never have a chance...

We have all slipped, and even I was found wearied and drowning... but a hand reached down and saved me....

The real question remains.... Who now then can remain standing?
