Gasoline efficiency from 50% to 100%
Just heard this talkshoe radio broadcast regarding
a technology which highly optimizes gasoline fuel
efficiency from 50% to 100%
It is proven and being used at this time, and I thought
you all should give it a few ears at this time. Makes
sense to me - enhancing gasoline fluid/mist to sort a plasma source:

Tread carefully here. This outfit claims to have a cell that magnetizes the fuel and adds treated water to improve gas mileage. You have to add a special sauce to the gas and to the water supply. All the "proof" consists of cars converted at their "school" or dealer rigs. The science here is iffy at best, claiming that they can ionize water into a flammable gas. I've had an awful lot of chemistry and a lot of that was water related but no one ever mentioned this feature. I did find reports that the mileage returned to normal shortly after the conversion.
This outfit is not big on answering questions, like what does the magic go juice cost ond how often do you need to add it.

I've seen similar "HHO" systems online. I don't have any experience with them or know anyone who does. If you're not ready to listen to the mp3 featured in original post I'll give you the gist of the process. Basically, they install a system that uses your normal gasoline engine to produce the electricity needed to perform "electrolysis" on a tank of water. Electrolysis is a relatively simple method of ripping apart water (H20) molecules into just hydrogen and oxygen by running a strong current through them. The H2 and O gas is pumped into the engine and used as a fuel to supplement the gasoline. Essentially they are running two fuels: water and gasoline. In the mp3 the "Automotive Technician" the radio host is talking with says he installed the kit on a late '90's Honda Accord, four cylinder that got mid-30's mpg on just gasoline and it got as many as 109mpg with the HHO supplement.
It's likely to not improve the efficiency of the gasoline since all it really does is add a different kind of fuel. It's like being on NOS everywhere you drive. It's also like the "watering down" of our gasoline supply with ethanol. Around town I've been seeing notices on the pumps claiming that the gasoline I'm buying is now 10% ethanol.
I don't claim to understand their chemistry entirely but the additives to both the water and the gasoline they mention bothers me a tad. Seems extraneous.
A couple of times they talked about the HHO system destroying the catalytic converter in your car's exhaust. Good luck passing inspection.
To end on a positive note, I like the fact that there are small operations working on solutions to this big problem.

I have been researching this (HHO) lately with a friend of mine and there is a man not too far from where we are who makes an HHO system. After the holidays, we are planning to go meet with him and my friend is seriously considering a purchase for his diesel truck.
I found another company and have spoken with one of their dealers, offering a similar, but more advanced system. It has an Hydrogen injection portion and a catalyst portion and with the two combined, they claim several laboratory verified reports of over 100mpg.
I am looking into this as well and will repost with any meaningful update.

I run my diesel engine with vegetable oil, fresh from the store, or specially recycled (filtered, additive). I mix with a bit of regular diesel fuel. Runs better, more miles, cheaper, cleaner.
This only applies to diesel- don't mix vegetable oil with gasoline!

I looked at veggie oil a couple weeks ago at the grocery store and, while I don't remember the exact price, it didn't seem to be a better choice (economically) than diesel. How much do you buy a gallon of veg. oil, farmer?

I've enjoyed the info on fuel efficient technology here;
http://www.eagle-research.com/browng...bg/whatis.html
YouTube vids re: Brown's Gas;
http://www.youtube.com/results?searc...&search=Search
Eagle Research also has manuals and kits for purchase that allow you to build and install fuel saving technology yourself.
They claim an increase of 50% on fuel injected vehicles and 100% on carbureted vehicles.

Where I live (in Europe) vegetable oil is still cheaper than diesel. But the gap is narrowing, probably because so many demands are being made on this source.
The best price for veggie oil is going to be wholesale, or at least larger quantities- you need to find a warehouse price, and then compare.
The thing for me is that gas is 6 bux a gallon. So any prices
I could quote you would be way off your scale.
Diesel is cheaper, and more to the point, gets twice the mileage. I am working on finding a source of free used cooking oil, which can be strained and treated, for fuel.

If your monetary denomination is the Euro then you pay about 1.45 times more than you would in the States.
If your monetary denomination is the Pound then you would pay about 2 times more.
But then your wages are higher too.

I read somewhere that the tax authorities in the UK were upset at lorry drivers who would stop in places like our COSTCO and by 5 gallon tins of veggie oil to cut their fuel with. I heard they started installing cameras in the parking lots to catch them doing this and penalizing the drivers....gotta generate that revenue ya know! LOL
