The feds claim jurisdiction in the whole country till it is time for them to act, then don't?* So what is the truth?

The comment about "interest" is not paranoia, it came right form the mouth of the government energy man.* He explained how the oil reserves would be "loaned" to the oil companies with "interest" in the return after the crisis.

Ok, are the Americans so stupid they don't know who is going to pay the interest?* Who always pays the interest?* Don't ever expect the government to protect you and this storm was a lesson that should be well learned.

If you haven't already done so, pack a backpack with 72 hours worth of supplies to sustain your life in case you ever need to leave in a hurry.* Don't rely on the government to feed you and see to your needs.* Don't ever allow them to contain you in one large place.*

If you live in a area that can be flooded, keep your supply of essential*food and water in the attic, even if you have to air condition a heavy*insulated part of it.* If you live in an area that won't flood like a hill in the desert, then store your food and essentials below ground in a cool place.* I recommend a years supply of everything you would need.* Store whole grains, honey, salt, dry milk, seeds, canned goods*and lots of water in your cache.* Rotate the store using the oldest first.* Learn to sprout and*make your own bread without electricity.* Eating wheat seed is a little hard on the teeth, but when you sprout them*it is easy and more nutritious.*
