I just thought of something.

A wifi card to a router parked in the trunk with an amplifier on the out/in signal should enable (theoretically) anyone to access wifi from the road easily.

I am sure someone will step up with a "time delay scrambler" or something to fool them, just give them some time to work on it.

At whose expense are you stealing this bandwidth. If you were using (stealing) my bandwidth, I would use the law to prosecute to the full extent! Or are you of the mind that you have a constitutional right to that which I pay dearly for?

Oh yeah I didn't mention ,Henry, that amplification of the unregulated signals in the 802.11 bandwidths, also can be prosecuted by the FCC or the WISP you steal from. This is one of those $10k/10yr deals on the law books.

By the looks of the discussion this just reinforces my view and shows how government produces criminals and criminal behavior, rather than reduce them and it. Push to gain information about otherwise peaceful people for purposes of control and people will respond to ensure their own safety security and privacy and freedom, then others look at it as stealing from them (which it is), and threaten to use violence (courts and the written will of the group who created the problem in the first place [Congress/Legislatures, judges, lawyers, govt. agents]), to secure their rights and property; thereby keeping the tyrants in power. . . . Bastards.

Yep, this seems to be the general idea! Now we really get to see how the government helps US. What a joke, on US.

Smile The easy out..

As the hackers say..

Don't access the net from your home...that's universally stupid.

10 years ago I had a map of the Net...hacking was pretty new and easy...telnet was a wonderful thing.

Be careful people, posters to this forum will undoubtably attract attention.
