True, but consider what types of people are attracted to such jobs....people who have NOTHING but the feeling of power.

I honestly believe when that day comes, yes, many will turn in the badge and walk away, but they'll find many willing to sell their souls (literally) for a position of power.

The reason there are gargoyals at the gates is to keep those who are still goverend by fear out.
