Question Off the grid or invisible?

Not to be confusing, but what options are you all considering?

I've read J. J. Luna's book How to be Invisible, and it is an eye-opener as to how easy it is to be traced.

I've also looked at what it takes to be "off the grid."

In short order, it just isn't easy or practical to get "off the grid." However, is reasserting your privacy (stop using your SSN, never show your DL to anyone but a police officer, obtain "ghost addresses" and never give your real address to anyone for anything, etc.) the better path?

Luna's book makes it clear that no matter what you do, you can be found IF they want to pour enough resources into locating you. However, the harder you make it to be found, the better your chances are of living life without BB watching your every move.

Thoughts?

They have satalietes that can tell what brand you're smoking. If you don't want BB watching you, consider moving to some third world country that doesn't have the tech and manpower for a complete police state/plantation.

One other thought, not nice, but people don't tend to "watch" or bother street people. If you don't mind living under a bridge and picking through dumpsters, you could get along without being bothered too much.

I wish to finish the Nationality Correction Process, get my own ID. straight through the proper channels, and then continue to study how to squash 'em like a bug in court concerning The DL.
I want them to be sick of me and sick of the truth getting into the record

Yup that's it. Make it expensive and time consuming for them

With the Nationality Correction, you are becoming an Alien Neutral to the Quiet War

disagree...

Just off the cuff...

seems to me that part of the pursuit of sovereignty is freedom. and freedom, as Robert Heinlein put it through the character of Lazarus Long, begins with telling "mrs. Grundy to go fly a kite!

After reading some reference material I found on this site, I am still, now more than ever, convinced that the best reply to anyone asking questions of you is to (as politely as possible) tell them "none of your business."
