Hurricane Frances

Everyone,



Just want to keep you updated on Hurricane Frances, now Tropical Storm Frances. Many many people are still without power here in Florida. I was without power till about 9 PM last night and have been without phone service until now. I am not on dial up but do have DSL on my phone line and it has been down most of the time.



Weishaupt1776 is south of me in Tampa and it was probably one of the hardest hit areas. Please pray that this storm will soon stop pounding the state. So far only 2 lives have been lost since the hurricane hit as far as I know. That is a miracle in itself and we thank God for keeping others safe. Much damage although not as devastating as Charlie. Lots of heavy pounding rain and wind. Trees, power lines, phone lines, etc. down all over the state. I know there are others as well on this site that live here in Florida. Please pray for their safety as well as all Floridians. It is still very dangerous to be out in this storm.

[color=black][b]Man, the power is down in some spots, but the Lord's got my area blessed w/ cable, electric, & phone. I'm cookin' up some food for some of the homedawgs here. I'll be in Arcadia next Sunday helping out some of the Hurricane Charlie victims. That Hurricane Ivan in the lesser Antilles is ragin' right now.

Good to see you're okay brother. You were a lot closer to the eye that we were up here. It's still giving us fits.

I'm in Orlando and we made it through the weekend with little damage except for some downed branches and two roofleaks. We are truly blessed. Some of my neighbors took really bad hits.

The wife and I volunteer for the Red Cross so we spent the weekend at a local shelter keeping 310 folks safe and fed.
