Website Contingency Plan

[color=black][b]I was thinking of scenarios in which(God Forbid) the site gets shut down or if the web gets surrendered to the UN, or if some new technology supersedes the current IP system & sites like this are denied or screened out. Should the administrators keep a master list of our names, addresses, & phone numbers just in case? I was thinking of possible meeting places for each state, conventions/seminars, etc. . . Also annually burning all the downloads on CD, etc. . .

Sounds like a great idea! We should all be burning all the downloads to CD, if possible. Any possibility of seminars in Canada, more precisely, Manitoba? If not, how about North Dakota or Minnesota?

<font color=darkblue face=verdana>Assuming one of the scenarios for such an outage may be BB interference, I wouldn't think fail-over strategies are best discussed online. Nonetheless, SuiJuris seems to be quite a capable engineer. I'm sure he could whip up this sort of thing if he hasn't already.

I'm of course willing to be a mirror if needs be.
