2nd Hand Smoke Suits

Here's the situation:

Downstairs neighbor (condominium) smokes like a chimney. He doesn't work and stands at his door with a HUGE fan that blows all the smoke from inside his house, outside and up into mine. I can't even open my front door without being bombarded by second hand smoke.

Now, with the semi-recent statement from the surgeon general that second hand smoke causes cancer, does anyone know of any cases that have occurred that can assist me?

I am trying to build a case against him and preparing to file a complaint.

Thanks in advance!

Save yourself the time and frustration, and get an air purifier/ionizer.

You will breathe easier, and your stress will be less, and your energy will not be expended on solving a no longer existent problem.

Hope this helps.

Yeah, did that. See, the problem is I live in SoCal and its hot. My unit does not have AC and I'd rather not spend the coin to have it put in.

Cases or codes anyone?

You still have the option of suing them, and then, from the winnings, buying a high dollar unit, and another for your new car...

Thanks Extra.

This, I am aware of. I'm really looking for data to build my case.

Why don't you write to the guy and when you get no response, go to a notary public and protest?
