Libertarian = Anarchist

On a local forum I was promoting my senatorial candidate on, somebody said:

<u>"... my overall sense of the party is that the ULTIMATE Libertarian would be the same thing as an anarchist."</u>

And my response was:

Then the ULTIMATE Democrat would be a pure so******t. More taxes, more welfare, more social programs, more restrictive legislation in general, and redistribution of MY wealth (property).

And the ULTIMATE Republican would really be a TRUE Libertarian if he would just keep his word and reduce the size of government and taxation as promised.

Just look at your options, and tell me the Republicans are really doing a better job of decreasing the size of government, taxes, and protecting our inherent liberties.

I am voting on my conscience and hard, cold facts, I refuse to vote on broken promises and lies, or to defend the party that makes them.

Anarchy is simply defined as a state of lawlessness. I fail to make the connection between the Libertarian Party and anarchism. Maybe you can connect the dots for me. All I want are my property rights, must we have a state of lawlessness for that to exist?

The Libertarian candidate for president is a constitutional scholar, and if invited to the debates, would have made the major party candidates look like the posturing illiterates. I find it impossible to believe that either of the other two debating candidates share Badnarik's knowledge on this document, or his dedication to protecting the ideals of liberty this country was founded on.

End of quote.

If so, there are no absolutes, and the only logical conclusion is that reality, truth, and right and wrong are determined arbitrarily on a daily basis by those with the most power, guns, and money, and the rest of us can choose to run, fight, or be their slaves.

Anarchy being defined as a state of lawlessness and the fact that our government does not adhere to the law should be an eye opening demonstration to anyone that we currently live in a state of anarchy and what the Libertarian Party proposes is that the government should be an example by keeping the law [ instead of breaking it as they so easily do with their forces of armed anti-social robots ready to willingly follow their orders ] .

IN MY VIEW THE REPUBLICAN PARTY HAS MORPHED INTO A PSUDO-DEMOCRATIC PARTY OVER THE LAST 20 YEARS. THE SAD THING IS THAT MOST PEOPLE IN AMERICA (FROM BOTH MAJOR PARTIES) SPEND THEIR LIVES CONCERNED WITH SOCIAL ISSUES (ABORTION, SS, TAXES, EDUCATION, ETC) RATHER THAN INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS AND PROPERTY RIGHTS.

I'M VOTING FOR BADNARICK TOMORROW. I AGREE WITH WHAT HE SAID IN ONE OF OUR LOCAL NEWPAPERS. THE ARTICLE HAD A SUMMARY OF ACTIVITIES FOR OUR FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. 1. THE GOVERMENT MUST PROTECT THE PEOPLE. 2. THE GOVERMENT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR COINING MONEY. 3. THE GOVERMENT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR HANDLING OUR MAIL.

THAT'S THE EXTENT OF IT. NO MORE NO LESS.

The government has some other duties as well. It is supposed to represent us in regards to other nations, regulate commerce and protect our borders.
