Re: Happy New Year
First off, let me start off with a heartfelt, although entirely ficticious, "Happy New Year".
We have all been caught up in a lie. Time is truly a fiction, although this sounds bazaar.
I should note that recent U.S Supreme Court decisions have made an issue of the "fact" that persons must give their names when confronted by public officials.
And, consequently, those supposedly in the know, are in dire straits.
Has anyone noticed that no issue has been officially made about one's DATE OF BIRTH"?
I keep stressing this, to no avail.
Christ did not have, and WAS NOT recorded in their system AT THAT TIME!!!
These corporate thugs want two things out of you, FIRST OFF, when they come into contact with you.
Your name AND your DATE OR BIRTH.
The recent SUPREME COURT decision is ABSOLUTELY useless, IF YOU KNOW THIS.
They have required that you give a name. But, you are not yet legally compelled to give a birthdate ... because quite simply, time is a fiction.
The fact is, many "persons" may have the same name that has been ascribed to you. But, it is your agreement that you were "born or naturalized" on a certain date, that convicts you. [ period added at a later ficticious date, get it, yuk, yuk!!!]
'Tis Ficticious food for thought, No?
Happy New Year,
truth

homework assignment
Just back from the big city of Anchorage to my cabin in the woods and finally logged back on. Ah, nice to be among uncommon thinkers thinking in common with me. And if not, will allow for growth and discussion! This has been another learning year for me and it looks like my first New Year's assignment is a fun one.
My 7th grade daughter just handed me her instructions for an assignment that is due Tuesday. Hello? You got this two weeks ago! Any way, get this folks. The assignment is:
Why is the Constitution important to you? He then states the following suggestions for those who cannot come up with any reasoning:
Which historic events shaped the Constitution?
HOw does the Constitution create a government that is strong, but not tryannical? or one that protects civil liberties?
The teacher stated it is purposely left open to allow for "freeedom of thought." Sources can include people too! Who da man?!!
Anyone care to contribute a thesis statement? Funny or serious are all accepted. The teacher feels he is a very strict knowledgeable Constitutional kind of guy, but let's just say, more than once in class he has stated that he looks forward to what my daugter's dad(me) will say when an assignment is to interview a parent! IOW, he's expecting something interesting and I won't disappoint!
Happy new year to all of you too.

Oh, any links you may want to offer my daughter will also be accepted.

Re: Homework Assignment
Ask him or her to please explain Thorgood Marshall's explanation that "although the union survived the Civil War, the Constitution did not.
Ask him or her to please explain Senate Report 93-549, in that we have been in a "permanent state of declared national emergency" since 1933.
Bring in HJR-192. Let them decipher that piece of legalese.
Show them the legal definition of a "note".
And then, show them a copy of any state birth certificate. Make sure you direct their attention to the bottom-left hand corner, where it says:
American Bank Note Company OR:
Midwest Bank Note Company.
And then, if you really want to punch them in the head with a little reality ... ask them to read " The Shetar's Effect on English Law".
But, the tragedy is in that your asking them, is contingient upon them comprehending all this information. IT'S SO EASY TO BE LAZY, WHEN THE MUNNY ISN'T REAL!!!
Sincerely,
truth

To break into question
So today, I hear on the radio that "The chief executive" has signed a directive that all flags be flown at half mast for a week to memorialize the tsunami victims in the far east. Since when does the flag drop to half mast for a NON_AMERICAN Cause?
Don't get me wrong, I am sorry all those folks are dead/missing. But there are certain TRADITIONAL reasons to fly even the corporate national ensign at half mast. Am I wrong? C'mon. Basics are us.

Dadmoonbunny,
I do not see anything wrong with flying the flag at half mast. Quite a few of the dead were Americans. If it weren't for those I would agree with you.
Hey All, HAPPY NEW YEAR!! May this forum help us all learn the things we need to change things for the better in 2005.
