Beware defenders of freedom featured by the media
The other day I was listening to CBC radio. They were talking about how the so-called "anti-terrorism legislation" is not needed and is a violation of basic human rights. They had the former Justice Minister defending the silly thing, and there was some idiot professor who was supposed to be against it. The idiot professor at one point stated that the Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms should be the last thing to respect when it comes to the creation of laws. Imagine that!
I turned off the radio.
